I have been painting and drawing since the early 1970's. During my school years I came under the spell of Jeffrey Smart, Salvadore Dali, Paul Klee, Joan Miro, Juan Gris, Yves Tanguay and Renee Magritte. These artisticaly creative individuals are a constant reminder to me of how the creative process can be. I am continually fascinated by their imagination, style, techniques and the delivering and fulfillment of those processes. I continue in awe these days...
I generally ink draw and watercolour fill. I am working on a few Acrylic and Oil Paintings but time constraints limit my developement of these mediums. I also do a lot of digital pre preparation of painting drafts either by scanning in drawings and digitally colouring them or creating them outright.
Landscapes, still lifes and interpersonal relationship free form abstract ideas are the themes I use to replicate and develope drawings and paintings.
