I have recently returned to painting after spending most of my working life in assorted but related areas. I was for some years occupied making ceramic sculptures. I was one of the first group of craftspersons in residence at the Meat Market Craft Centre in North Melbourne where I worked alongside sculptor Deborah Halpern, weaver Ann Greenwood and potter Greg Daly. Most recently I worked as a cartoonist, publishing a book of my cartoons and for 3 years provided a page of cartoons unter the banner 'The Feral Eye' for the TV guide in Melbourne's Sunday Herald Sun. Now retired and turning my hand to what was my favourite and best subject at school. Full circle. |
