ARTIST BIO

It is fair to say that I am an emerging artist with little formal training.   I have taken to Art and Painting after a long period of time. Work , family and community commitments as a member of a Rotary Club left little time for self.  Now retired I am enjoying the opportunity to paint again.  

I’m excited by the use of color reds, orange, yellow, blues and greens.  I have undertaken watercolour workshops with Terry Jarvis and acclaimed water colourist, and I have been experimenting with acrylic paints.   

I’m not one to use oils all that much as I’m too impatient looking to get onto the next piece.   I enjoy doing large pieces of work as the canvas or board provides greater scope to improvise and use.   I enjoy doing landscapes, seascapes,  and vibrant abstract works involving the techniques associated with Acrylic Flow painting.
